I use the lodgebox for stoing blanket and pillows, sleeping bags and stuff so when my kids have a sleep over I can pull it out quick and they can hopefully put it back

I love the way this chest looks.....it is definitely an added attraction in my bedroom. I was able to store extra pillows and some towels. I wish it would have been larger but it is really fine. Love the pattern and all the trim on it.

I bought this storage chest to use as a toy box in our family rooom. It is a lovely addition to our decor and there is plenty of room for all the toys. The safety hinges and air holes clinched the purchase for me since my granchildren use it. The quality is excellent. I bought the dark color to match my end tables - it's perfect! I would recommend it to anyone. It would also be perfect as a storage chest in a bedroom at the foot of the bed for blankets.

The rattan trunk in off-white is a good buy and has a lovely design as well as bun feet that are carved and that allow it to stand off the floor (useful if you are putting it on a cold floor). It appears to be capable of holding a bit of weight, although I would not exceed 100 pounds. My only complaints are that the inside hinge is not brass but flimsy metal and actually wrenched itself loose the first time the chest top was opened. I could recommend replacing it with a sturdier hinge if you want to keep this trunk. The top, also, does not close fully flush with the body and may need some weights put on it for awhile. The color is lovely, however, and the top is easy to wipe clean. I would recommend adding another layer of wood in the inside bottom if you are planning on putting more than 100 pounds inside (this will make it sturdier). Overall, however, this was a nice piece with a good price, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes off-white furniture with a Victorian look.

this "hope Chest" is being given by me to my son and future daughter in law. it is exactly what i had been looking for. i had shopped retail and just didn't see what i though would fit into her style. before i actually saw it (i ordered via internet), i thought that it could be stored in a closet after i give it to them, but it is so beautiful, i believe they will have it at the foot of their bed. thank you so much for making a beautiful piece of quality furniture.
